Get the Denim Blues

The medium dark shade known as denim blue has a hex code of #6F8FAF, a muted sibling to cerulean and paler relative of navy. But these distinctions are pointless, because denim comes in all shades of blue, which is maybe why blue somehow always feels like the chillest color. As autumn approaches, it’s time to slip into cooler, substantial, denim blues.

Wearing no pants is probably the best feeling in the world, but when that’s just not going to cut it (damn social decorum and its pesky expectations), it might be time to find a worthwhile alternative: hot pants.

The term “hot pants” may make many of us shudder as thoughts of too-tight, overstuffed or overexposed come to mind. However, no matter what your body type may be, the idea of wearing these retro short shorts doesn’t have to be so intimidating, especially if you know which style fits you best.

I like wearing hotpants, especially when its warm but I don’t like too flash too much flesh. I’m going to buy a cream lace pair as well to layer under some pretty summer dresses. Just adds a bit of attitude.

Lengthen legs with a super high heel for a night out. If you aren’t six feet tall, wearing hot pants with a pair of killer stilettos will accentuate your frame and leave your limbs looking long.
